Peachtree Audio introduced its first product in 2007: the groundbreaking Decco. An integrated amplifier. Audio industry veterans Jim Spainhour and David Solomon recognized that music listeners were moving toward computerized audio, but the business-as-usual industry wasn't adapting. Unwilling to compromise audio quality for the convenience of digital files, they devised a new kind of integrated amplifier. This would be an amplifier with a built-in digital-to-analog converter, capable of extracting maximum fidelity from computer music files and from digital music streamers like Sonos and Apple TV.
